My June Glossybox arrived last week so that’s why I am just posting about it now! I subscribe to Glossybox about every other month for $21 per box. Out of all the beauty subscriptions out there, I like Glossybox the best because of the size of the samples. Normally I’m able to use the products for at least a couple weeks and this enables me to fairly review the products. Here is my first impression of the products I received this month:

Etre Belle Cosmetic Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturizing Gel – The words “aloe vera” always catch my attention because of the benefits from this ingredient. This is an oil-free, lightweight moisturizer for day and night. I like the texture of it but it leaves a very sticky feeling. The first time I used it, I had to wait 10 minutes before I felt comfortable applying my makeup. It does not have SPF protection, so if I use this in the morning, I’ll have to use another moisturizer or BB cream with SPF. Because of these reasons, I will only use this product at night.

Doucce Lush Lip Gloss – I’m not a fan of lip gloss but this is easy to apply and is pigmented and moisturizing. This shade of red is boring to me, so I probably won’t have much use out of this product.

Orly Nail Lacquer in Red Flare – I was excited to get this because I love nail polish and I don’t have this dark shade of red yet. It was easy to apply and I will be wearing this more in the fall/winter.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – I’m a big fan of Too Faced Cosmetics so this was the highlight in this month’s box. It greatly volumized and lengthened my lashes. The full size price is $23, which I think is too expensive for a mascara. I think the drug store mascaras are very high quality, so while I loved getting this in the box, I wouldn’t purchase the full size item.

Nexxus Color Assure Restoring Conditioner – When I received this, I thought maybe I had filled out my online profile incorrectly because I have received a hair product for color treated hair 3 boxes in a row now. My online profile was filled out correctly, so I’m disappointed and will be giving this away to a friend!

Overall, I am satisfied with this month’s box. For just $21, I was able to try out all these new items and a couple of them I will get plenty of use out of it. Let me know if you’ve used any of these before and what you think of makeup subscription.
