Lip Essentials / MLBB Tag

July 17, 2015

Thank you Nancy at Ok, Keep it Real for nominating me for the MLBB (My Lips But Better) Tag. Nancy is one of my best friends and we started blogging at about the same time, so please visit her blog 🙂 I was excited to do this tag because I love lip products. Not only do I keep my lips well hydrated and smooth, but I also love experimenting with different lipsticks. A pop of color on the lips help you look more put together even if you don’t wear makeup. Now lets talk about some of my favorites:

Sara Happ Lip Scrub – I have been using this product for years and have gone through so many of them. My favorites are the Vanilla Bean and Red Velvet flavors. They are so yummy and effective. I use this every other week to help exfoliate my lips. After each use, my lips feel extremely soft and smooth.

Vaseline Lip Therapy – I have talked about this product a couple of times now. The tin looks rusty because I’ve had it for over 2 years. I use it every day and there’s still some products left! The ones in store has a different packaging and when I purchased it recently I realized the formula is different! The one in the new packaging is very sticky and doesn’t seem as moisturizing. Unfortunately I cannot find the tin ones online anymore, but I have seen UK based bloggers post about the tin ones.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 – I wear this every day in the summer because of the SPF protection. People often protect their face with sunscreen but forget about their lips. It’s so important to provide your lips with SPF coverage as well!

Dior Rouge Lipstick (color 752) – This is a bold red and is great to wear out at night. It’s matte, creamy, and highly pigmented. The only challenge is that you need to be careful when applying it. Using a lip liner first will help with application.

Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon (color pêche) – I LOVE Bite Beauty lipsticks and has the matte creme lip crayon in several colors. I love the matte look, and they are extremely creamy and pigmented. It’s so easy to apply and even comes with a sharpener. Pêche is a peachy color and so perfect for summer. I have been wearing this almost every day and have received so many compliments.

Now I want to nominate the blogs below for this tag. These are blogs I discovered recently and I have been loving their posts. I look forward to reading about their picks. Please visit these lovely bloggers:
