Summer is flying by! I only have 2.5 weeks left of my summer internship and I realized I have not posted any work outfit ideas since my first day of internship! This post is not about where to purchase these items (since most of them I’ve had for a while), but more about giving you three different outfit pairing ideas. These are easy pairing so you should be able to find something in your closet to replicate these looks!
Classic Blouse and Skirt:
The blouse and skirt combination is classic and easy, but it doesn’t have to be boring. Even though I have a couple black skirts, I also have skirts in a variety of colors and prints. I love to wear a solid colored top with a fun skirt, for example in this photo a ruffled skirt with a zipper in the back. The key is to make sure the length is appropriate for work, especially if you work in a corporate setting! You can see another blouse and skirt example in this Instagram photo.

Blouse and Pants:
This is the most common combination I see at work. Most people wear pants with a blouse or cardigan. This summer I have been wearing lots of pastel such as the example below. I also recently purchased a Rebecca Minkoff bucket bag in peach, and it goes with so many of my outfits! I have been obsessively searching for a bucket bag for a month and this one was definitely love at first sight. You can find this bucket bag at Saks and Nordstrom.

I used to think blazers are just for interviews and networking events, but over the years I have purchased many fun and chic blazers. It helps to dress up an outfit and it’s so versatile. I love wearing blazers in the summer because it’s easy to take off when I’m walking outside in the sun and easy to put back on when it gets cold in the office.
